Acts line up for Newton Music Festival’s return

Several exciting and upcoming acts have been confirmed for Newton Music Festival, which takes place on Saturday, 3 August at Mesnes Park from 4.30pm – 11pm. And more are to follow… with tickets already on sale.

The event, which takes place as the annual Newton Town Show draws to a close, has been organised by Newton and Earlestown Community Group, and sees the return of what was once a popular local event in the calendar.

Expect top headliners, local bands, DJs, live entertainment and community involvement.

Who’s playing at Newton Music Festival?

New acts are being announced all the time – and we’ll be updating this page in the run up to the music festival.

But already there are some fantastic acts to look forward to, including:

Medulla

Meduulla

Meduulla is a poet and rapper from Manchester, whose music reflects her experiences growing up in contrasting cultures as a first generation immigrant from Zimbabwe. You may have caught her recently on Granda Reports talking about her work and extraordinary life. Visit her Instagram page to see some snippets of her performances – she is one not to miss!

Asian Blonde

Asian Blonde

asianblonde are an up and coming duo, whose unique sound has become beloved by TikTok users. The band is made up of best friends Will and Ed, and you can get a taster of their style on their Instagram account.

The Rolling People

The Rolling People

Stockport based The Rolling People are a young band, but they’re already taking the Manchester music scene by storm. They attract packed crowds and an enthusiastic fanbase.

They bring an energy like no other and influenced by the legendary Oasis, The Courteeners, and The Verve. Catch them before they hit the big time!

Malarky

Local favourite, Malarky, are a North West band playing covers from the likes of  Sam Fender, The Killers, Stereophonics, Arctic Monkeys and more! Follow them on Facebook to get a flavour of their performances.

 

How to be at Newton Music Festival

Tickets are available to purchase online now – and the sooner you book, the less you pay. The second tier of tickets have now been released, with priced from just £14, including booking fee.

Don’t forget to keep your eye on the Newton Music Festival Facebook page, where updates about the show are being regularly released.

Festival goers must be aged 14 and over.
