Calling all male singers!
The LGN (Lowton, Golborne and Newton) Community Choir wants to hear from new male members, to come along and “sing for fun and friendship”.
This brilliant local choir currently have 70 female singers but only 20 males… so they’re hoping to boost the numbers and even the score a little!
The choir rehearse every Wednesday from 7.30pm at Cross Lane United Church, Cross Lane, Newton-le-Willows, WA12 9PT.
No experience is neccessary, and there are no auditions. You don’t need to be able to read music, you just need to be able to sing in tune and love singing!
Whether you’re a seasoned vocalist, or have never sung before, you’ll be made most welcome.
Come along and try out the choir for a month, with no membership fee. After that, membership is £12.50 a month.
