Class of 2021 celebrate GCSE results

by admin

Congratulations to all the Newton-le-Willows pupils who’ve picked up GCSE results today!

Results day came slightly earlier this year for students, following a very disrupted couple of years of study.

For a second year, pupils did not sit formal exams – but they have still had to work hard for their grades – and with less classroom time than they should have had. Schools have assessed their marks based on a combination of mock tests, coursework, homework and other factors.

And there were plenty of reasons for local pupils to celebrate!

Hope Academy

Hope Academy pupils arrived to collect their results to find the school decked out with balloons to help them celebrate their success. The school shared pictures of their happy students on Twitter, too.

Haydock High

There was lots to smile about at Haydock High, too, as pupils gathered to find out their GCSE grades.
