This Christmas, you could put a smile on the face of a local child by taking part in Business for Youth’s Toys 4 Joys Christmas Appeal.
Now in its fourth year, the idea of the appeal is to give local disadvantaged families a Christmas to remember – without the financial worries.
Business for Youth collect donations of Christmas gifts and take nominations from schools for families who would benefit from receiving them.
In the run up to Christmas, those families are invited along to the Business for Youth Santa’s Grotto – where the children receive presents from Father and Mother Christmas – as well as all the elves! In addition, the family will receive vouchers to help them with their Christmas shop. It really is a lifeline for some families – and makes precious memories for children, too.
Donate a toy and make Christmas magic for a local child
If you can help, please drop off any new, unopened toys to Crownway Community Centre any day between 8.30am – 12pm; or to the Business for Youth Headquarters on Saturday mornings.
Last year, 42 local families were helped in the run up to Christmas – and your generosity really made a big difference.
Date for your diary – Santa’s grotto will be open to all this year!
For 2021, Business for Youth have decided to open their Grotto to the general public over one weekend before Christmas – on 18 and 19 December. No nomination is required.
