Brew & Games at Newton Library

A weekly group that meets for a brew, a chat and some board games every Thursday at Newton Library from 10am – 12pm.

This is a relaxed social session where the kettle is always on. Whether you’re a fan of classic board games, enjoy a bit of a challenge with a puzzle, or just want to sit back with a free tea or coffee and have a chat, you’ll find a warm welcome.

Whilst the regulars are often from the retired community, this group is open to everyone and is all about fun rather than competition.

Have a favourite game at home? Feel free to bring it along and see if others want to join in. It’s a great way to meet new people, share a laugh, and enjoy a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. And, it’s completely free, with no pre-booking required.
