Family Shared Reading: A Live Story Experience

Before screens, stories came from each other. Rediscover those times at Newton-le-Willows Library every Friday from 11.30am at an interactive storytelling session that’s all about being in the moment.

You’ll gather in a circle to dive into a great book together, led by the library’s friendly Reader Leader who brings every page to life.

This is a no-pressure, high-fun session for the whole family, lasting approximately 30-45 minutes. Kids will love the interaction, and parents or grandparents are invited to join in the reading if they feel like it: but there’s absolutely no requirement to do so!

Whether you want to practice your “character voices” or just sit back and enjoy the tale, it’s a wonderful way to share a live experience with your little ones.
