Rock and roll evenings are on at The Griffin in Earlestown.

Each week they have some of the best bands around performing for you, for free.

Here’s what’s coming up:

Saturday, 3 October: The Rain DUO – playing all your indie, pop and rock faves.

Saturday, 10 October: Stated Quo – Status Quo tribute.

Friday, 16 October: Troyen – an experienced part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal – having first formed as a band in 1981 and having amassed an impressive back catalogue along the way.

Saturday, 17 October: Cold Turkey: An audience pleasing covers band who know exactly how to to create an electric atmosphere. Cold Turkey offer a classic mix of rock, pop, punk and blues, with a little sprinkle of soul and motown sprinkled in.

Saturday, 24 October: The Pink Pumps: Playing a mix of rock and pop.

Friday, 30 October: Tony Fouracre & Flynn Murnan (acoustic).

Saturday 31 October: Hocus Pocus – playing mixed rock for your Halloween night.

Saturday, 7 November: Rat Race: Playing tunes from Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Pulp, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Deep Purple, Bowie, Doors and a few surprises! This band features Alan, Scott and Briggy from Papa Legba alongside Paul from Papa Soul.
