Free inclusive football sessions for children

by Gemma Melling

Did you know? Newton-le-Willows FC runs free pan disability inclusive football sessions for boys and girls aged four and above each week.

The Comets – Pan Disability Inclusive Football sessions take place every Wednesday evening from 6pm to 7pm at Hope Academy on Ashton Road.

The club has partnered with LearnActive NW to offer these sessions specifically for children who may find mainstream football challenging. The initiative aims to ensure all local children have the same opportunities to enjoy football in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The sessions focus on inclusion, fun, friendship, building confidence and playing football in a supportive atmosphere. No experience is necessary, and the club welcomes new participants to join at any time.

The sessions are completely free to attend, making football accessible to all families in the area. If you know a child who might benefit from these inclusive sessions, the club would be delighted for them to join.

You can find out more by contacting Newton-le-Willows FC on 07922 206401 or email enquiries@nlwfc.co.uk.
