After their last album went to Number 3 in the UK charts, Earlestown band The K’s are setting their sights even higher for their latest release.
The group – who will be headlining Newton Music Festival next weekend – release their latest album Pretty on the Internet on Friday, July 25, 2025.
And to help push the record as high up the charts as possible, the group are setting up shop temporarily on Newton High Street, where they’ll be meeting fans, performing songs from the new LP and signing copies.
The K’s pop-up shop will be within Riddling Rack cocktail bar from 10am to 3pm on Friday, July 25, Sunday, July 27, Monday, July 28, Tuesday, July 29, and Thursday, July 31.
The band also plan to host a separate pop-up in Manchester – and each location will offer fans the chance to buy a different limited edition version of Pretty on the Internet.
Meanwhile, fans who purchase special tickets for Saturday night at Newton Music Festival will also get to take home a limited edition version of the CD, too.
So, why not pop along and meet this rising four-piece band, before they hit the top of the charts! You could be a part of their success story – as pop-up shops like this have helped other local bands to reach Number One –including The Lottery Winners, who have members from Lowton and Leigh. Their pop-up shop in Leigh Spinners Mill back in April this year was a driving force behind their album KOKO (Keep on Keeping On) going straight in at Number One in the UK album charts.
