Are you a man who loves to sing? Then why not think about joining Haydock Male Voice Choir, who are always welcoming new members?
You do need to be able to hold a tune but you don’t need to be a musical prodigy to join the choir. The choir’s professional music team and the friendly choir members themselves can help you on your choir journey and help you to learn singing techniques. There is even a website for members with tracks that you can practise to at home.
Singing is great for wellbeing and joining a choir is a great way to meet new friends and feel part of a community. It’s also open to all ages – the choir has members from ages 19 to 95.
If you’d like to find out more then you can contact the Choir Secretary Graham Melling on secretary@haydockmvc.com or simply attend a rehearsal taster session where you can see what the choir is all about.
Rehearsals take place at St Helens United Reform Church, King Street, St Helens, WA10 2JZ on Tuesday evenings.
You can also find more information on the Choir’s website (Haydock Male Voice Choir – Making music since 1923) and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/HaydockMaleVoiceChoir/).
