New Ukulele club seeks players

by Gemma Melling

A brand new weekly ukulele club is launching in Rainhill this month, welcoming both complete beginners and experienced players to join in for musical evenings of strumming and singing.

Starting on Thursday, 6 February, the Rainhill Ukulele Group will meet every Thursday evening from 7.30pm – 9.30pm in the function room at The Black Horse Inn.

Led by Paul Helsby of the Rainhill Ukulele Group, these relaxed sessions will include sing-alongs, group strumming, and the chance to meet fellow music enthusiasts. Music sheets will be provided for all participants.

Whether you’re a complete novice who received a ukulele for Christmas or an experienced player looking to join a friendly local group, these weekly sessions offer a welcoming environment to develop your skills and make new friends.

So bring along your Ukulele and enjoy a couple of hours with fellow enthusiasts. You’ll find the Black Horse Inn at 70 Rainhill Rd, Rainhill, St Helens, L35 4PF.
