Acclaimed young singer songwriter from Newton-le-Willows, Adam Thomas Hughes, is performing a live outdoor show with his band at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, before the Warrington Wolves v Hull FC Super League clash on Saturday 12 April.
The band will be on the Hoover Main Stage at 4.45pm to perform a full set for fans in the stadium prior to kick off.
The show will include the first live performance of the hotly anticipated new single “Left Behind (Kid)”, which is set to be released on all streaming platforms on Friday 9 May.
Adam Thomas Hughes is a rising star on the North West indie rock circuit. Aged just 18, his first two singles Long Way Home and Homemade Attraction received rave reviews from music critics.
Northern Exposure Magazine described him as “The epitome of indie pop”.
Next Wave Magazine said he is “One of the most exciting young talents emerging from the North West music scene”.
In just 12 months, Adam and the band have built a fast-growing and loyal fanbase with shows at venues in Manchester and Liverpool, as well as an impromptu appearance in front of thousands of music fans at last year’s Newton Music Festival.
The full band comprises Adam on guitar and vocals, Will Crump on lead guitar and backing vocals, Max Warburton on bass and Dan Bretherton on drums.
They are set to play their biggest headline show to-date at The Deaf Institute in Manchester on 5 July.
