Summer Games offer free kids activities during school holidays

by Gemma Melling

There’s just a few short weeks until the summer school holidays, and once again Business for Youth are coming to the rescue with a whole hosts of free activies to keep children and young people busy.

The Summer Games will include activities at Viaduct Sports and Earlestown Cricket grounds, as well as trips out and about.

On Monday, 29 July, it’s Competition Day, with lots of fun and games activities.

Then on Monday, 5 August, it’s an Environmental Day, with a walk over to Lyme and Wood Country Park for a picnic and some environmental activities.

On Monday, 12 August, it’s a Festival Day – with a child friendly music festival planned!

And on Monday, 19 August, there’s a Farm Visit Day Trip – with 56 places available.

All sessions also include a free lunch.

If you’d like a place for your child, hurry, as places are limited.
