Young people at the Business for Youth Junior Gardening Club celebrated St George’s Day in a suitably green fingered way this weekend.

More than 2,400 eggs were donated to the Business for Youth appeal, with the Easter Bunny visiting local primary schools to ensure each child got one for Easter.

There was a real party atmosphere as Business for Youth organised a charity walk through Lime and Woods Country Park, followed by a free family fun day!
People in Newton-le-Willows turned out for a 24 hour walk, held in solidarity with the plight of all those affected by conflict in Ukraine.
There was lots of laughter and fun when 80 local children enjoyed a free festive party organised by Business for Youth, and got to meet both Father AND Mother Claus!
